Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We’ve got answers. From ordering timelines to trying on our gowns at Hananovias Bridal Boutique, here’s everything you need to know about your Viva La Pepa experience.

Where can I try on Viva La Pepa gowns?

You can try on Viva La Pepa gowns exclusively at Hananovias Bridal Boutique in Buckley, Washington. This cozy, home-based studio offers a relaxed and personalized experience for brides who want to discover something truly different.

When should I order my wedding dress?

Each Viva La Pepa gown is made-to-order, meaning we begin creating your dress only after you’ve placed your order. Our standard production time is 5–7 months, so we recommend ordering at least 8–10 months before your wedding.

Need your gown sooner? Contact us to explore rush options.

What does made-to-order mean?

Made-to-order means your gown is crafted from scratch — just for you. This allows us to offer thoughtful customizations and ensure a dress that reflects your style and fit.

Do you offer sample gowns?

Yes, we offer a small selection of sample gowns at Hananovias for try-on. These are gently used showroom dresses that may also be available for purchase at a lower price. All sample gowns are carefully cleaned and quality-checked before shipping.

Which dress size should I order?

We recommend having your measurements taken by a trusted seamstress or tailor. Choose the closest size up based on our size chart — it’s easier to take in than let out.

Custom tailoring is always recommended for the best fit.

Do you offer in-house alterations?

We do not offer in-house alterations, but we’re happy to provide advice. We recommend connecting with a local bridal seamstress as soon as you receive your gown.

How will I receive my gown?

All gowns are shipped directly to your door — free for U.S. orders. International shipping is available at an additional cost.

We’ll let you know when your gown is on its way!

How should I prepare for my appointment?

We suggest wearing nude undergarments and bringing heels similar in height to what you plan to wear on your wedding day. If you already have a few favorite styles in mind, list them when booking your appointment so we can curate the best experience for you.

My wedding is coming up fast. Can I still order?

Yes — we offer rush orders for brides on a tighter timeline. Reach out to us, and we’ll let you know what’s possible based on current production capacity. Rush fees apply.

Can I customize my gown?

Yes!, we offer customizations to our designs, such as changes to sleeves, necklines, lining color, or train length — so you can make your dress feel even more like you.

What’s the difference between sample and made-to-order gowns?

Sample gowns are pre-made and used for trying on in our boutique — often available at a discounted price.

Made-to-order gowns are crafted specifically for you and are eligible for customization.

What measurements do I need to provide?

To get the best fit, we recommend these six key measurements:

  • Bust (fullest part)

  • Waist (smallest part)

  • Hips (fullest part)

  • Hollow to Hem (from collarbone to floor, without shoes)

  • Waist to Hem (natural waist to floor)

  • Heel Height (estimated shoe height)

Tip: Wear the undergarments you plan to use on your wedding day, and take measurements more than once to be sure!

What is the price range of Viva La Pepa gowns?

Our gowns range from under $1,000 to $3,000, depending on the style and level of customization.

Do you offer at-home try-ons?

We do not currently offer an at-home try-on program, but all try-ons are available by appointment at Hananovias Bridal in Buckley.
